Contract and Other Details
**Clients must agree to any and all of the following terms before
booking with HKA Photography.**

NON-REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT AND FEES:
There is a non-refundable deposit of $50 due at booking to reserve your date for all sessions excluding weddings. If your deposit is not paid within 3 days of invoice being sent, your date and time will not be guaranteed. The remaining balance must be paid on or before your session date.

A minimal travel fee of $25.00 will be applied to any session located more than 20 miles outside of 36527 and can vary depending on location.

CANCELLATION POLICY:
I do understand that sometimes "life" happens, and things do come up. Please let me know as soon as you can if you need to cancel your session. There is a one-time courtesy reschedule. Should you need to reschedule a second time for the same session, another deposit must be paid to book again. Please remember that all deposits are non-refundable!

​​COVID-19:
Every precaution is being taken to ensure proper sanitation and cleanliness of the studio as well as for outdoor locations if and when props and close contact with photographer are in need.
If you or any family member are showing signs and symptoms of Covid-19 or running a fever within 3 days of your session, it is necessary to reschedule. Optional dates will be discussed to accommodate rescheduling once everyone is symptom free. At no point will a deposit be refunded as they are non-refundable, but if no reschedule date can be agreed upon, the deposit can be applied to another session within the next 3 months.

DELIVERY & STORAGE:
Images will be available for viewing and ready for immediate digital download in a password protected online gallery within 1-2 weeks of session date excluding weddings and large events which are 4-6 weeks.

Please remember to download your online gallery immediately to your computer once you receive it. All galleries will have a set expiration date and will vary depending on the type of session that was booked. It is the client's responsibility to download and backup the images prior to the expiration date! There will be a $25 re-upload fee once your online gallery has expired should you need it.

Depending on the type of session booked, it may include digital only images or USB of images from your online gallery that will either be mailed, or hand delivered upon completion.

HKA Photography DOES NOT distribute original or raw images!

HKA Photography is not responsible for the loss or damage to the digital files, CD's, flash drives, prints, or other keepsakes due to circumstances beyond the photographer’s control. All images will be stored on the photographer’s hard drive for 24 months after the session date and can be used for promotional purposes at the photographer’s sole discretion. After the 24-month period, all images will be removed and no longer be accessible for viewing or purchasing of any kind.
COPYRIGHT:
HKA Photography retains all copyrights to all images created during the client’s session. Clients are free to use photos via social media, however, you may not crop, edit, remove watermark, or alter images taken by HKA Photography. The print release included in all sessions is for printing rights only! It does not allow selling or altering of these images in any way without the photographer’s written permission.

It is highly recommended to use professional print labs for best quality of your images. HKA Photography is not responsible for third party lab issues regarding decreased print quality such as low resolution and/or coloring and contrast differences, etc. for prints NOT purchased through HKA Photography.

By clicking the button below, the client has read, understands, and agrees to all of the above terms and also indicates that the client(s) give permission to the photographer to share these images on social media and other sources to display work and advertise to others unless noted otherwise.
